About Dr. Manfredi
Rosemarie Manfredi, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania and Delaware and a certified school psychologist in Pennsylvania. Dr. Manfredi completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at Widener University, with concentrations in school psychology and neuropsychology. She completed an APA-accredited internship through Widener University, with rotations in a private practice in neuropsychology and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, Department of Neurology. Dr. Manfredi then went on to complete a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Autism Research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). During her fellowship, Dr. Manfredi completed the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disorders (LEND) training program.
Upon completing her fellowship, Dr. Manfredi joined the faculty at Chestnut Hill College. She served as an Assistant Professor of Psychology in the master’s and doctoral psychology programs and the Training Director of the Chestnut Hill College Internship Consortium for 5 years. She has taught courses on the Assessment of Neurodevelopmental and Related Disorders and Introduction to Autism Spectrum Disorders, supervised doctoral students in neurodevelopmental assessment at the Chestnut Hill College Psychological Services Clinic, and oversaw dissertation research. Dr. Manfredi has previously worked as a consulting school psychologist for public and charter schools, as a psychologist evaluator for military service members and their families, and as a psychologist evaluator for families receiving wraparound services. Currently, Dr. Manfredi is the Director of Clinical Research for the Selective Mutism Research Institute in Jenkintown, PA. In this role, she conducts research into the development and treatment of selective mutism and related social communication disorders, including social anxiety, shyness, autism spectrum disorders, speech and language delays and disorders, and learning differences and disorders. In July 2015, Dr. Manfredi opened Neurodevelopmental Assessment and Consulting, LLC as a private practice providing diagnostic, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological evaluations.
In addition to working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, Dr. Manfredi is committed to working with police and military service members and their families. An evaluation will help to determine whether there is a diagnosis that accounts for the difficulties the child is experiencing. A diagnosis can help to identify the nature of the problem and suggest possible accommodations, modifications, and interventions that may be helpful. A diagnosis may also be required to determine eligibility for certain programs and services, such as special education, behavioral and emotional services, and medical interventions. However, a diagnosis is limited to labeling the problem and suggesting possible interventions; it does not describe the specific way an individual is affected. An evaluation will help to identify the particular cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and environmental factors that have contributed to the development and maintenance of the condition. It will also provide a description of an individual’s unique pattern of strengths and weaknesses.
- The person is having difficulties in learning, memory, executive functioning, attention, behavior, and/or emotional functioning.
- The person is suspected of having a specific condition (such as an autism spectrum disorder or a learning disability), and testing is required to determine whether the disorder is present.

Individuals and families can contact Neurodevelopmental Assessment and Consulting, LLC for current evaluation rates. Evaluations conducted through Neurodevelopmental Assessment and Consulting, LLC are usually charged a flat fee so that costs are predictable. Costs for all evaluation types include a clinical interview, review of records, psychological and/or diagnostic testing, a feedback session to review the results, and a written report. Fifty percent of the fee is due at the first appointment, with the balance due at the feedback session. Neurodevelopmental Assessment and Consulting, LLC accepts payment via cash, check, or credit card. Reduced rates are available for active duty and veteran military service members, police officers, and their immediate families. A limited number of reduced-cost evaluations are available each year for families with significant financial hardship.
Neurodevelopmental Assessment and Consulting, LLC is an out-of-network provider with all insurances. However, once the evaluation is complete and the report is written, Dr. Manfredi will provide a billing statement that includes the diagnostic and procedural codes that can be submitted to the insurance company for possible reimbursement, if covered and eligible. You are encouraged to check with your insurance provider about your out-of-network benefits, whether you have a deductible, and whether you need a referral from your primary care physician for an evaluation. Depending on your insurance plan and benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement of the evaluation cost.
